The Ribble Valley has a fine reputation for its food and eateries and there are many restaurants, pubs and cafes to choose from.
In the village of Waddington there are three pubs that serve food - the Lower Buck, the Waddington Arms and the Higher Buck.
The village cafe - the Country Kitchen is open Wed - Sun.

Further afield we can recommend wonderful places to eat in the surrounding villages of Mitton, West Bradford, Gisburn, Wiswell, Worston and Downham.
If you fancy a leisure drive in some stunning scenery - the Trough of Bowland is the perfect place. We can recommend some lovely routes around the area taking in the pretty towns and villages of the Lancs/Yorks border country.

For the keen mountain biker Gisburn Forest is a 20 minute drive away, here you will find a purpose built mountain bike terrain with several challenging runs through the trees. Clitheroe has several specialist bike shops providing any equipment you may need.
The local area is a draw for walkers with walks for all levels. We can recommend and provide details of local walks to suit all abilities. There are river walks, fell hikes or gentle strolls around the nearby villages. There are many attractions to visit and lots of fabulous eateries and country pubs.
